Department's Mission
The mission of the chemical engineering department is to prepare students for productive careers in the discipline of chemical engineering or in the discipline of process instrumentation and control engineering. Upon graduation, students will have learned skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and communication necessary for success as practicing chemical engineers or process instrumentation and control engineers or in postgraduate studies. In addition they will be prepared to serve the society through their engineering knowledge in various matters such as national policy, education, standards, and professionalism.
